Reception Learning

In Reception, children continue on their learning journey by exploring their curriculum through play and targeted activities. The teams work closely together to build upon existing Nursery skills and to ensure children are happy and excited to learn. They create the building blocks for successful learning across the Academy. 

Homework

Our library has lots of exciting books and you can also read books online through our website. We encourage children to read every night. It is such an important skill to learn and practise. Children also have other homework to do on these nights:

In Nursery, the children will bring home a 'Talk About' activity every week which links to their learning in school. When they are ready, the children will bring home a Reading book to share with their families.
