Welcome to Gateway Academy.

Gateway Academy is a vibrant and successful two-form community primary school.

We are delighted to welcome you to Gateway Academy – a vibrant, inclusive, and successful two-form entry primary school at the heart of our community.

Welcome back!

We hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer and are feeling ready for an exciting new school year. We’re really looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow and welcoming you back to Gateway! ❤️

Children should arrive at school at 8:35am so that they are in class and ready for registration at 8:45am. There will be members of staff positioned around the school to remind children of their classes if needed.
Where does my child go?
Nursery - enter through the black gate on Frampton street, turn left and enter the Nursery playground where teachers will be waiting. 
Reception - enter through the black gate on Frampton Street, turn right and enter the Quiet Garden where teachers will be waiting. 
Year 1 and Year 2 – enter the Dining Hall via the playground and line up with your teachers.
Year 3 – for the first week, enter the Dining Hall via the playground and line up with your teachers. Once children are familiar with their new classrooms they will go up to class alone. Teachers will let you know when children are ready for this next step.
Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 – enter the school building via the atrium and walk directly up to class where teachers will be waiting.
